I love your comments! The intelligent & insightful discussions that happen here are really what make Tenkara Talk what it is. But here are a few things to keep in mind when leaving a comment on this site:

1. If you’re leaving a comment for the very first time, it will be held in moderation after you hit the submit button so it won’t appear right away. But don’t worry. I check my iPhone every 5 seconds for updates so if it’s approved, it and all of your future comments will appear automagically without having to wait to be moderated ever again! Nice!

2. However, one of your future posts might be groggy, grumpy, or even gruesome due to a lack of caffeine, nicotine, or fishing. I get that. But personal attacks are not tolerated here. I want to stay focused on sharing ideas about tenkara–not what you think about a particular person. So, just keep it focused on the topic at hand and you’ll be cool.

3. Spam…uh, yeah. I have a pretty good anti-spam program running in the background so you don’t have to wade through garbage (like I do). But if you’ve been approved and start posting spam, you will be deleted. And banished. And I’ll kill your dog. OK, well, I won’t really kill your dog. That’s just cruel and your dog probably had nothing to do with it. Or did he? Being a dog spammer would be the perfect cover if you think about it. No one would ever suspect the dog, right? Well, we’ll have to evaluate that on a case-by-case basis.

That’s it! Basically, be kind, be yourself, reply to someone as if they were sitting right in front of you instead of on the internet, and just share your awesome thoughts on tenkara!
