FINALLY got the big shipment in I’ve been waiting for! The Tricos are officially back in stock and hopefully for good. To all of you who have been so patient in waiting for them, thanks! Also, from now on, we’re including a custom foam fly drying patch with each one. Get them here.

Hi Jason,
I’d like to get a Trico but the link appears to be broken…what;s the correct place to order a Trico?
Thanks!
John
Ditto! Where can I get a Trico UL pack? I’ve been following your blog(s) for some time now and am finally starting to gather gear. Thanks!
John & Patrick,
I shut down Backpack Fly Fishing some time ago to focus on this blog. I am redesigning the Trico and it probably won’t be available again until the Spring but if you email me, I will send you an email when it’s ready.
Send me notice when trico pack is available.
OK, will do Ron! Probably this spring.
Will do Ron! They’ll probably be available in the Spring.
Hello!
Can I buy someware Backpack Fly Fishing ?
I don’t sell them anymore but you can get them at Antigravitygear.com. Search for “Dragonfly pack”
Jason,
Are you no longer redesigning the Trico? I had been holding out on getting something else for the past few months
Hi Pete, no I am not. I wasn’t able to get someone to sew it for me. However, you can get the identical pack at antigravitygear.com. Look for the “Dragonfly” pack made by Elemental Horizons.
Interested in purchasing the Trico ultralight fly pack.Where can it be purchased? Thanks Jim
Hi Jim, sorry but I stopped producing these a few years ago.
Jason, that’s really a shame – the youtube video shows it to be fantastic. The Mayfly lanyard pouch just doesn’t compare.
Best,
Mike
Hey Mike, no one is more disappointed than I am. But it’s a difficult pack to sew–very technical and I couldn’t find anyone else to reproduce it while keeping the cost down. If you can recommend anyone, please let me know and maybe I can resurrect it.

Hi James, I haven’t made these for years and they’re no longer available. But I’d suggest you look at the Yonah Tenkara simple pack. It’s what I carry now: https://www.tenkaratalk.com/2019/02/yonah-tenkara-simple-pack/
